Our History

Sal Nunez, is the founder of Cosmexico, commercial name of Cosmex Internacional, SA de CV. During the initial half of his long career, he worked as a corporate team member of large corporations that were global already: Bristol-Myers, Avon, and Tambrands (P&G). He became an expert in transferring knowledge accrued in the USA to lower cost regions. Tasks involved abiding the legal and regulatory framework in every country, bridging cultures between knowledge transmitters and recipients, grooming middle managers in adequate abilities, developing local suppliers to reduce importation costs, finding suitable locations to host an operation, performing marketing intelligence studies, and enabling each new subsidiary to act independently while maintaining ethics and corporate values. This he did in Brazil, China, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Puerto Rico where he either lived or travelled assiduously.
